OneMillionMoms

1,000,000 moms can't all be wrong.   They're fed up with the filth many segments of our society, especially the entertainment media, are throwing at our children?  Like me, they see our society decaying, lacking morality.  At every turn, more and more people are questioning the moral standards this country has lived by for centuries.  Think about what appears on TV today that would have been unheard of just 40 years ago.  Who says that just because a standard of behavior is old that that means it's outdated?  I'm one of those Christians who believes that every word in the Bible is true, and that at the very least, it gives us clear standards to live by.  For everything in life there is an opposite.   It can't be said that everything is good.  If that were so, we'd be living in a perfect world and we know that isn't true.  So if this isn't a perfect world then everything isn't good.  Some things must be evil/bad for us or society as a whole.  That's why we have to have a standard for discerning between good and evil.  America began as a nation built on Judeo-Christian values.  Little by little, those values and standards have been eroded.  It begins with a knock at the door.  For example, producers of TV commercials and shows  once held to the standard that any hint of nudity was unacceptable.  Then clothing became more revealing.  Screen shots began to show glimpses of underwear.  A cry went up, but the knock on the door became a door ajar.  Soon, advertising showed women's underwear items.  The door opened wide and in walked women shown wearing those items, modeling them.  Modesty on screen had evolved a full 180 degrees.  In the same way, other standards are being tossed out as too old-fashioned.  Now Hardee's ads feature a most attractive model becoming more and more aroused as she consumes her hamburger.  Where will this stop?  One Million Moms has set out to inform members when businesses cross the line.  They encourage their members to avoid those companies and contact their CEO's.  It's time for the silent majority to stand up and be heard loud and clear.
